What a comeback! After staying away from the tournament scene for a while (or so this writer was told), Barry returns and took the title to the EM Super Cup!
The writer is fortunate enough to finish as a finalist, but regrets the slipped opportunity of winning the title.
Seasoned player Wayne Wong and Magic newcomer Lim Yong Chin are the Semifinalists while a host of familiar names made up the rest of the top 8, including Decards Showndown winner, Faruqi Uzair, arguably the most well known personality in the community, Michael Toh, with Hiew Chee Chong and Tan Su Teck rounding up the Top 8.

REGISTRATION
Registration begins at 8:00 AM, and ends ten (10) minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Any player who wants to enroll after registration has ended will be able to do so, but will receive a round one match loss. Players arriving after round two has been paired will not be able to enroll in the tournament.

Welcome to Chiba, Japan and the 2010 Magic: The Gathering World Championships. This weekend marks the culmination of an amazing Pro Tour season. Who will hoist the World Champion trophy? Will the traditional powers show their strength in the National Team competition, or will a relative unknown team emerge as China did last year? Will American Brad Nelson end five years of Japanese dominance in the Player of the Year race? Who will be crowned the Magic Online World Champion? How will the event shape the Standard and Extended metagames?
All these questions and more will be answered over the next four days as 350 players from 60 countries put their Magic skills to the test. Day 1 begins with the Parade of Nations and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, followed by six rounds of Standard and two National Team rounds. The National Teams take a break on Friday, when we have six rounds of Scars of Mirrodin Booster Draft. Then Saturday features the final two team rounds and six rounds of Extended. Come Saturday night, we'll know the Top 8 individuals and the Top 2 National Teams who will be competing Sunday under the spotlights.
Follow along all weekend as Brian David-Marshall, Rich Hagon, Bill Stark, Monty Ashley, Tim Willoughby, Ray Walkinshaw, Rashad Miller, and Craig Gibson bring you all the action from 2010 Worlds.

Are you familiar with EDH? If you're not, here are the absolute basics: it's a player-created format in which each player selects a Legend to be the General, then makes a hundred-card deck based on that General's colors. And no card other than basic lands appears more than once. It's a lot of fun, and it's an entirely community-maintained format.
Magic: The Gathering Commander is composed of five different hundred-card decks, with no card other than basic lands appearing more than once per deck. There are a total of 51 new Magic cards spread across them. And each deck comes with three foil oversized versions of legends that also appear as regular cards in the deck. You can buy one of these decks and play it out of the box, or cannibalize it for your existing EDH decks. Sorry, that should now be "your existing Magic: The Gathering Commander decks."

1. Exit the Ayer Keroh, Melaka toll from the North-South Expressway .
2. Just travel straight down the road for quite a while until you see Jusco on your right.
3. Take a right on the traffic lights after the Majlis Bandaraya Melaka Bersejarah Building (which is right next to Jusco).
4. Drive straight until you encounter a junction with traffic lights that you can turn to your left.
5. Turn left, there should be a Petronas petrol station on your right.
6. Drive a short distance down the road, you'll see a small mall-like building on your left, BB Bazaar.
7. Epic Toyz is in ground floor of this building!
