The CCEGAMES RM1.5K ARENA is in full swing as the competition got tougher - although last week's chart toppers were able to cling on to their lead, there are many out there who are hot on the trail, ready to steal the lead if the top players stumble.
More write up on the event can be found here and here.
Two more matchdays now in the books and plenty of red hot action over the weekend.
Standard Recap
Nik Nadrul looked invincible on Matchday 3 raking another set of full wins with his mono-red. But it was Daniel Kong and his Kithkin who took top prize based on tie-breakers. Nik came into Matchday 4 hoping to solidify his position and putting the competition out of reach at the half-way point of the tournament. But alas, he only managed 1-2 and it was his mono red rival Win Yan who topped the standings and 9 cool points. Combined with earlier 6 in Matchday 3, Win has jumped into the top 5 of the leaderboard with 3 more matchdays to play. Clement Lim who was hot on Nik's tail with consistent performance throughout the first 3 matchdays couldnt capitalise on Nik's fallout as he himself also managed to scrape only a 1-2 record for Matchday 4.
Summarized standings after Matchday 4
1. 30 pts - Nik Nadrul
2. 21 pts - Eddy Ng
3. 21 pts - Clement Lim
4. 21 pts - Hari Muralitheran
5. 21 pts - Win Yan
Draft Recap
American Zac Hill continue to dominate the draft tables, this time going blue (as compared to red strategy previously) and added another 15 points over the weekend over 2 draft pods. Nur Shahbuddin is keeping close, but as long as he doesnt find a way to defeat Zac on the tables, Zac should ride this one home with a 9 point edge going into Matchday 5....
Summarized Standings after Matchday 4
1. 30 pts - Zac Hill
2. 21 pts - Nur E Shahbuddin
3. 18 pts - Hsuen Qu
4. 18 pts - Allan Chong
