Vincent Gan vs Matthew Wong
Game 1
Matthew Wong
Vincent mulligan his hand to 6 – appeared unhappy about his hand but kept it anyway. Matthew started off the game with an untapped Blood Crypt taking 2 and played a Mogg Fanatic before playing Chrome Mox and added a Morph creature to his board while all Vincent did was to build up his manabase.
Matthew then added a Shambling Remains to his board before attacking with all of his creatures. Vincent had to cracked his fetchlands to play a Spellstutter Sprite to block the Fanatic, but lost a large chunk of his life totals after all. After looking at the next card he drew, Vincent scooped up all of his cards to move onto the 2nd game.

Game 2
Vincent Gan
Vincent started off with a 1st turn Ancestral Vision after a Flooded Strand fetched an Island, while Matthew started off his game with a Bloodstained Mire fetched a Blood Crypt, paying 3 life to play a Figure of Destiny which chipped Vincent for a 1 before adding a Bitterblossom to his side of the board to pressure Vincent. Vincent meanwhile suspended another Vision and added a Mutavault to his board. Matthew then attacked Vincent for 2 with his pumped up Figure, taking him to 16 while he himself stood at 16. Vincent then played a Secluded Glen tapped before his opponent went down to 15 from his tribal enchantment as Matthew attacked Vincent with his 2 creatures, forcing Vincent to take 3 to go down to 13.
Vincent then filled up his hand as one of his 2 Visions resolved and played a Swamp. Matthew went down to 14 and attacked with his 2 tokens and the 2/2 figure, after playing and equipped his Umezawa's Jitte to a Faerie token. Vincent cracked his Polluted Delta to go down to 12, then played a Cryptic Command to bounce Matthew's faerie token with the Jitte as his Figure traded with Vincent's animated Mutavault. Matt then played another Bloodstained Mire for a Mountain and played a Chrome Mox, cast Boil to destroy almost entire of Vincent's mana resources just as Vincent looked to start to have gained control with a full hand.
The culprit...
and the result...
Vincent fueled up again as his 2nd Visions resolved, playing a Polluted Delta, playing his own Jitte to send both players' Jitte to the graveyard. Vincent then took 2 from Matthew's 2 faerie tokens, went down to 9, and when Vincent tapped out to play a Sower of Temptation to gain control of a untapped token, it got killed by an Incinerate, went down to 6 from the following attack phase. Vincent spent a lot of time agonizing over his options with his limited mana on his following turn but finally settled on playing a Threads of Disloyalty on Matthew's Figure of Destiny but a top-decked Pendelhaven gave Matthew just enough damage to send himself through into the finals.
