Grand Prix are easily the biggest open events the DCI offers. They're high-energy and held around the world. Plus, no invitation is necessary—anyone can attend. No pro points? No problem. Playing a good game is all that matters, and with Pro Tour invitations down to 16th place and a cash prize pool of $30,000 that goes all the way down to 64th place, one thing is certain: a Grand Prix is a sure-fire great time. Hi guys,
Our next event is coming up in just under 2 week’s time and this time round we’re running a Grand Prix Trial – Bangkok! Details are as follows:
Date: 31st May 2009
Time: 10am registration, 10.30am start
Venue: Game Vault, 15A Jalan Medan Ipoh 6, Bandar Baru Medan, 31400 Ipoh.

Format: Alara Block sealed deck (2 Shards of Alara, 2 Conflux and 2 Alara Reborn boosters)
Entry Fee: RM65
Prizes: Winner will receive a 3-round bye to GP Bangkok. Booster prizes will be determined on the day based on attendance.
This is a great opportunity to grab a 3-round bye to the upcoming GP-Bangkok on August 22 - 23 where the format will be Magic 2010 sealed deck! Everyone who's played in a GP before will know how valuable a 3-round bye can be, and even more so in a limited event so don't miss out on a chance to win the bye!
