GACC is Games, Anime Comic Circle, an annual convention in Multimedia University Melaka to celebrate games, anime and comics.

Epic Toyz is proud to host 2 Magic: The Gathering tournaments throughout the whole GACC event, along with on-demand booster drafts and constructed 8-player tournaments, game demos, exhibition and more!

TOURNAMENT DETAILS (MTG)

GACC 2010 Magic: The Gathering Day 1 Tournament (Sealed Deck)
Saturday, 20th March 2010
Starting Time: 1.30PM

Format: Sealed Deck (Zendikar-Worldwake)
(Construct a minimum 40-card deck from the 6 boosters given. Basic lands provided and no limit on how many basic lands you may play in your deck)

Tournament Structure: Modified Swiss-style rounds, 50 minutes each.
- Number of rounds dependant on number of players.
- Players play a best 2 out of 3 games to win the match each round.
- Standings after Swiss rounds will be used to determine final order in the standings.

Entry Fee: RM70

Prizes:
1st – 12 booster packs + A MTG Pin + choice of MTG Bag or T-Shirt
2nd – 6 booster packs + MTG Bag or T-Shirt, depending on winner’s choice
3rd to 4th – 4 booster packs
5th to 8th – 3 booster packs
9th to 16th – 2 booster packs
17th to 32nd – 1 booster pack

Sunday, 21st March 2010
Starting Time: 1.30PM

Format: Standard Constructed

Tournament Structure: Modified Swiss-style rounds, 50 minutes each.
- Number of rounds dependant on number of players.
- Players play a best 2 out of 3 games to win the match each round.

Prizes:
1st – 12 booster packs + A MTG Pin + choice of MTG Bag or T-Shirt

Starting Time: 11.00AM

Format: Open
(Play with any 50 card deck you construct)

Tournament Structure: Modified Swiss-style rounds, 25 minutes each.
- Number of rounds dependant on number of players.
- Players play a single game to win the match each round.
- In the event of a time-out, the match is declared a draw.
- Standings after Swiss rounds will be used to determine final order in the standings.

Entry Fee: RM10

Participation Promo:

Format: Trial Decks only
(Play with only a pre-constructed Trial Deck of your choice)

Tournament Structure: Modified Swiss-style rounds, 25 minutes each.
- Number of rounds dependant on number of players.
- Players play a single game to win the match each round.
- In the event of a time-out, the match is declared a draw.
- Standings after Swiss rounds will be used to determine final order in the standings.

Entry Fee: RM10

(Sign up at the Non-electronic Games registration counter, once there are 8 registered players, the tournament will begin immediately.)

(Your choice of Zendikar Block and M10 – while stock lasts)
Entry Fee: RM35 / RM40 (Entry fee includes 3 boosters for drafting)
Prizes:
RM35 – 1st -> 2x boosters, 2nd & 3rd -> 1x pack
RM40 – 1st -> 8x boosters, 2nd -> 4x boosters
