The long wait for the set is over - the latest expansion set to Magic: The Gathering, Shards of Alara goes on sale this Friday, 3rd of October. Hundreds of Malaysians took the opportunity to be some of the earliest players in the world to get their hands on and play with the newest set cards of cards that are bursting with fantasy flavour and an extremely unique feel as the set is based around 5 distinctively different worlds that used to be one.

As much as I'd like to play as well as being very excited over the challenge of sealed-deck building with the strict mana costs of the cards in the set, I was instead recruited to judge and manage the pre-release tournaments over the weekend at Decards @ USJ Summit.
